A nationally recognised Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering training and assessment courses focusing predominantly on first aid, emergency response and water safety across the state both in metro Melbourne and regionally. A charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission
Our client is Victoria's peak water safety and lifesaving organisation and is committed to its mission to prevent aquatic related death and injury across all Victorian communities. A recognised agency of Emergency Management Victoria and provides emergency response services across the state through its vast network of lifesaving clubs, lifeguards, marine and aerial rescue services.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance and Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the compliance activities associated with their status as a registered training organisation (RTO), as required by the VET quality framework. This will include the development and review of learning resources, the delivery of compliance validation, internal auditing and reporting activities, contributing towards the maintenance of the training technology platforms and the engagement and support of trainers and assessors.
Develop and maintain high-quality learning and support resources, providing both the Public and Volunteer Training business units with accurate and timely delivery of service.
Engage and inspire subject matter experts, creating positive relationships that enhance the production of quality, creative and compliant learning resources.
Support training compliance by providing efficient and systematic support to internal users of technology systems and support applications.
Maintain a current register of Trainers and Assessors records (qualifications, currency and professional development) to meet the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) requirements.
Undertake core quality assurance processes including resource validations, policy and procedure development, internal audits and ongoing review / continuous improvement activities.
Support Public and Volunteer Training business units with the preparation of RTO reporting requirements.
Capacity to work independently and collaboratively across multiple projects.
Provide prompt, efficient and courteous service to all external clients, stakeholders and ensure all requests and stakeholder proposals are accurately communicated.
Complete all required internal documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner, including the provision of advice to stakeholders.
Understand the individual requirements and components associated with managing training services and the critical nature of the interdependencies and linkages of those various components.

The role will be based in Port Melbourne, with the ability to work in a hybrid model.
This position would ideally suit an experienced quality assurance and systems professional who is current in learning pedagogy and theories has exceptional attention to detail and has experience working with a range of publishing software's to produce high-quality materials.
Essential experience and qualifications
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
Knowledge of eLearning authoring tools.
Experience utilising cloud-based student management and learning management systems and technologies.
Familiarity with ASQA Standards for Registered Training Organisations (2015).
Demonstrated ability to write creatively, clearly and concisely.
Ability to work with a range of publishing software to produce high-quality materials.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Must have or be able to obtain an employee Working with Children Check.
