Our Client

Our client is a highly regarded, large dynamic group who are specialist training providers, delivering nationally accredited, industry-based training and assessment programs throughout Australia. They are seeking to engage a National Sales Manager who is experienced in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.

The Role
They are seeking an experienced VET senior manager who has a strong commercial background, a deep interest in education and current developments in the industry, proven results in business growth, exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management and a record of success in the education sector.

The Key Performance indicators for the National Sales Manager will be to:

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies
  • Develop the business in line with the current strategy and business plan to achieve sales targets
  • Deliver commercial outcomes in line with the budget
About You
You will be responsible and accountable for facilitating growth and profitability across the training group. The National Sales Manager supports the Group in the execution of strategic direction as established in the Group’s annual and 5-year business plans.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Proven experience as a National Sales Manager in the VET sector – Essential
  • Proven B2B new sales experience for at least 12 -18 months
  • Have strong experience in undertaking and managing Government procurement processes
  • Experience managing a high-performance sales team
  • Proven success in delivering digital marketing campaigns
  • An ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics
  • Availability to travel as required
  • Ability to write and present proposals, tenders and concept papers
  • Excellent knowledge of the vocational training sector, including State and Federal funding opportunities
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), Electronic Direct Marketing (eDMs), Pay-Per-Click (PPC), Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), lead generation and content marketing programmes
