Our client is an industry-based education company. They partner with Charles Sturt University (CSU) to develop a unique series of online Masters degree qualifications that are accessible, affordable, accredited and relevant for students and professionals seeking careers in IT in Australia. They have been leaders in the Australian online IT postgraduate market for over a decade through our extensive marketing and free short course programs. Following their recent acquisition, they are looking to capitalise on the knowledge and resources in the international and education space and invest in growth.
About the role
They are seeking an intelligent and motivated person to maintain their current successful sales and marketing program, as well as looking for opportunities to expand their student base. The Online Sales and Marketing Manager will be offered bonuses based on KPIs, and a potential further bonus based on revenue growth up to 30k.
Working diligently and collaboratively with the marketing team on daily/weekly activities (e.g. free online short courses, marketing webinars, sales campaigns, weekly email schedule and social media)
Develop and execute their 2021 strategic sales and digital marketing plan to achieve targets and budgets
Develop, implement and monitor digital marketing campaigns including research, advertising and public relations
Draft copy for marketing emails, social media posts and web content
Reporting to the CEO, you will manage a sales team of 3-4 staff: including weekly meetings, call monitoring, staffing and campaigns
Organize paid marketing campaigns and ensure maximum ROI
Oversee marketing strategy and new initiatives – including research into new areas of opportunity in domestic and international education
5 days per week (flexible work hours may be available after an initial period) – some out-of-hours work required for online events
You will be very proactive in coaching and mentoring your team, as well as taking the lead in building on your own customer base, actively calling on a range of prospects looking to study online or higher education.
Experience in an online learning, RTO or higher education area - Essential
Digital marketing and paid media campaign management experience with a high level of technical knowledge
Strong content writing and content marketing skills across a multi-channel approach
Experience leading marketing and sales teams
Experience using marketing systems such as MailChimp and CRMs
Strong stakeholder management and project management skills, with demonstrated experience working with and coordinating multiple teams to deliver outcomes
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Business
Exceptional communication and people skills
Proactive and capable to work in a self-directed manner
Able to ingest new technologies and systems quickly
