The Role Our Client is seeking Trainer and Assessor/s to facilitate the following qualifications:
Certificate III in Food Processing (FBP30117)
Certificate III in Supply Chain Management (TLI30319)
As a Trainer and Assessor, you will deliver workplace training and assessing in a face-to-face format. The role will be part-time with the potential to extend to full-time for the right candidate.
About You
You’ll be a passionate, engaging, experienced Trainer and Assessor/s who has held a similar role in delivering practical and interactive training to a wide range of industries. You will pride yourself in providing students with a vibrant learning experience. You will focus on the student experience and success. You must possess excellent communication and time management skills with attention to detail.
Essential Criteria
Trainers and Assessor/s must meet the following criteria:
Hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or hold the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A unit and TAEASS502 unit, or a higher-level adult education qualification.
Hold the qualification they are delivering, or able to map to the qualification they are delivering. Holding both the listed qualifications will be highly regarded
Have recent experience, or have maintained industry currency in the relevant sector, i.e. Food Processing and/or Supply Chain Operations
Have participated in and have records of activities or professional development, ensuring a solid understanding of current VET practices and requirements.
Current drivers license and be willing to travel. Location: Laverton
Ability to follow a planned schedule to ensure learners progress in a consistent manner.
Key responsibilities
Delivery of training and assessment in accordance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Prepare and mark assessments for students.
Maintain currency of knowledge through professional development.
Maintain student records as required by the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015 and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Participate in Validation and Moderation as required.
Liaise with students as they progress through their studies and keep records of interactions.
