The Company Edutemps are excited to be partnering with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that has provided training and associated workforce services to the Transport & Logistic industry, including bus, construction, waste management and local government sectors for 20 years. In addition, to delivering comprehensive full qualification training services, our client also develops and deliver short courses that satisfy industries’ skills needs and the ever-growing compliance requirements.
The Role The Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that training programs and courses are conducted by forward planning the scheduling of training courses.
The role is essential to ensure the end-to-end delivery of training and assessment services is smooth and efficient.
Key responsibilities will include;
Working with clients and internal staff, manage the enrolment of participants into training programs and scheduled courses
Prepare training schedules/calendars in the scheduling system
Complete the training booking/order forms and pass them on to the relevant business areas to initiate: the raising of invoices, order/production of resources, payment of trainers, other services
Maintain Trainer/Assessor files
Communicate regularly with Trainer/Assessors and keep them updated regarding training/scheduling information
Ensure Trainer/Assessors undertake regular professional development sessions
Liaise clients on a regular basis to ensure smooth operations and to verify the training meets their requirements
Prepare client training management reports
Participate in, or undertake internal audits of compliance as requested
Maintain training and assessment paperwork to ASQA/RTOs requirements
Qualifications and Essential Criteria
Relevant VET sector experience - essential
Completed Year 12
Current Drivers Licence
Experience with RTO student management systems/databases (aXcelerate is ideal)
The ideal candidate will have;
Strong detail orientation, organisational skills, and ability to multi-task with little direct supervision
Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products.
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to learn and a ‘can-do’ attitude
